Acrostic Poem

Write a poem where each line starts with a letter from your first name (an Acrostic). It can be about anything, but it should not be about you or your name.

Alone in the dark, she stifles a silent weep.

No one knows where she lay, entombed and six feet deep.

Drawing her last breath, how it tastes so sweet.

Reminiscing her life and the memories she wants to keep.

Everything is fading away, cresting on the waves of peace.

Waiting for her final breath, she slips into an endless sleep.
