The Beach

Sun

Sand

The beach

Toes dug deep

Ocean waves and sunny days

Walkers walk, joggers jog, sunbathers take the rays

I flee away to clear my mind
seeking solitude and leaving distractions behind

The surf, the seagulls, the breeze, the picture perfect pier
When I need to get away, I always enjoy coming here

The salty air, the open space
The sun’s warm breath on my face

Volleyball or Frisbee, whatever your release may be

Make the beach your haven

Openly running free

It exists

For

You
