Blank. Paper.

Pen. Paper.

Not ready within.

Creativity at a halting standstill.

Knowing not how or where it should begin.

Wishing. Willing. Wanting. Waiting.
All the while, patience for words to come … abating.

Strike the flint. Listen for a hint. Look for a glint.
Something has to show.
Did it arrive? No, it didn’t.

Daunted. Deterred. And dismayed.
The pen? A dull blade. Paper? Decayed. Hopes? Filleted.

Stripped of all that was. Finally it arrives.

The heart is now ready.

Honest. True. Unbiased.

Now write.

This had me thinking of my constant issues of writers block, maybe I’m thinking to much about what my next write will be in stead of writing but this hear I can definitely identify with. Great write.

Thanks. A lot of my best ideas and surges of creativity hit me when I least expect it or when I’m not forcing it.

I like it that way… it lets me know that writing should come naturally to me… the way it should be.
